Christopher Masek

Christopher joined IK in 2000 and is a managing partner of the firm. He is chairman of the executive committee, head of region west and head of the firm’s Benelux team. He is also a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher worked for KPMG Peat Marwick and KPMG Corporate Finance in Paris where he was a partner. 

He graduated from Yale University, Sciences Po Paris and holds a French law degree. Christopher is a board member and responsible for IKARE, an IK founded and sponsored charity, applying venture philanthropic principles to the causes it supports. IKARE aims to overlay private equity investment techniques and other business expertise and practices into these causes, thereby contributing more than just funding.
